    We delivered a fresh and innovative interior transformation for Santander’s new Works Café on the highly sought-after Kensington High Street. The project comprised a full refurbishment of the basement and ground floor levels, within a space originally refurbished by us in 2011, reinforcing our ongoing relationship with the building.

  • The works included a comprehensive refurbishment across both basement and ground floor areas. The ground floor was reconfigured to create a large, open-plan customer-facing environment, designed around the introduction of the new Works Café concept.

  • The design focused on creating a welcoming and flexible space for both banking customers and remote workers. On arrival, customers are greeted by a bright and open ground floor layout, with the Works Café positioned as a central feature of the branch experience.

    The space was carefully planned to support informal working, social interaction, and relaxed customer engagement, while maintaining operational functionality. The refurbishment enhances circulation and openness throughout, supporting a modern retail banking environment.

  • The completed Works Café delivers a contemporary, customer-focused environment that reflects Santander’s evolving branch model. The transformation of the Kensington High Street location successfully enhances usability, encourages dwell time, and provides a flexible space for customers to work, meet, and relax.
